2018. This is going to be such a great year! We have so many things in store for you amazing nail techs!
We want to thank you all so much for participating in ‘Our Favorite Things 12 Days of Giveaways’ event! It was very exciting to give away such amazing prizes and we’re grateful to the wonderful sponsors for their generosity to our community. We are looking forward to doing more of those in the future!
Ok, now on to 2018! Here’s some great things that you can look forward to from us here at UNC.
- We have changed our name! When we began this crazy journey, our goal was to build a community of Utah nail techs, as well as nail techs in the surrounding areas, that would uplift each other as we reach our potentials in this expanding business of nails. We’ve discovered that to continue to build this community would take a small but significant change. We decided to exchange UTAH for UNITED, in hopes that this community will expand nationwide. We are UNITED in our resolve that every nail tech will have an opportunity to learn, educate, grow, and uplift each other. Our heart and mission started here in Utah. Our events will stay here in Utah. We hope that you will see our vision and help us share these opportunities to our fellow nail techs in the USA.
- In April, we are going to host the first ever Education Week in Salt Lake City! More information to come about this SOON, but just to give you an idea, we have invited so many educators the will be available to teach different levels of nail technicians – from Students to Pros. It’s very exciting and is going to be so much fun!
- In July, we are planning a “Christmas in July” giveaway! Who doesn’t love more nail mail? Be sure to stay up to date with us via Instagram for the giveaway details.
- September will bring the SECOND Utah Nail Expo! Holy guacamole, are you as excited as we are about this event?! It’s going to be bigger and better! This year’s expo will be located at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, Utah. Be sure to mark off your working calendars for September 14 and 15, 2018. We will announce specifics of education and vendors in the Spring.
2018 is going to be amazing! We cannot wait for all the events that will join us together as a community this year! We love each and every one of you and are in awe of your talents! Keep up the great work, and keep sharing your talent with us!
